Zach Scheidt’s “5G Cash” – Legit Investment Opportunity? [REVIEW]

What are "5G Cash" towers and is "5G Cash" legit? Zach Scheidt claims this is some easy opportunity for Americans to collect thousands of dollars in extra income each month, but is it really?

In this review I'll be going over what "5G Cash" really is, some misinformation we are told, the sales pitch going on here and more.

Spoiler Alert: Don't expect to strike it rich!

Recently I came across Zach Scheidt's presentation for this, which you may have seen too. Title started out as:

"5G Cash" Towers
The 5G technology enveloping America is creating towers of cash for Americans like you to raid.

5G Cash Towers

There is a heck of a lot of hype in the presentation, and it can be pretty confusing trying to piece everything he says together.

Some of what we are told includes that:

  • "5G Cash" consist of "regular investment payouts"
  • anyone can get these payments
  • this opportunity was brought about by a "tweak to a 60-year old public law"
  • Bill Gates and Donald Trump are even getting this "5G Cash"

Not only this, but he makes the opportunity sound like a sure-fire way to get rich. It all sounds so easy and, pretty much, like a guaranteed way to profit.

BUT, of course you can't always fall for these sorts of investment teasers.

Red-Flags

Besides this all sounding too good to be true, and coming across as somewhat of a get-rich-quick scheme, there are some other red flags that caught my attention during my research, such as the fake images shown.

Fake Images

Throughout the presentation he kept showing testimonials of all these people who have supposedly been collecting tons of this "5G Cash" money... and to be honest it was getting pretty annoying.

He talks about how you could get rich and how people "like you and me are now enjoying celebrity lifestyles" thanks to 5G Cash.

BUT, what I found out is that the images of these people are actually fake.

fake photos

After doing some reverse Google image searches I was able to find out that these are just stock photos, as you can see...

Every photo that I looked up turned out to be a fake, meaning that the picture below isn't really "Oliver P" like we are told...

fake photo 2

And if the pictures are fake, then can we trust any of this?

There are even some testimonials shown where people are making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.

But you shouldn't expect this, and you'll understand why...

What Is "5G Cash" Really?

At this point things aren't looking too good, but there is actually a real opportunity here.

As we are told in the presetation, the IRS made a tweak to Eisenhower's law and this is what has brought about this new opportunity.

Eisenhower's old law made it possible for companies involved in building pipelines, bridges, buildings, etc. to get tax breaks, and now it is possible for 5G companies that build cellular towers to get in on the action.

As is stated: "The IRS tweak opened the floodgates for ordinary Americans to get a shot at collecting '5G Cash'".

How Does It Work?

The law is being talked about here is Public Law 86-779.

As was mentioned, cellular towers are now classified as "real property", and to keep things short, this is a law that requires REITs, or Real Estate Investment Trusts, to pay 90% of their income to their unitholders, which is similar to a shareholder.

Verizon, AT&T, etc. all pay large amounts of rent to the companies who own these towers, and some of this rent money gets distributed to investors in these cellular tower companies.

To invest in REITs you have to buy a form of security called a unit investment trust, and each unit represents a proportionate fraction of ownership - just like shares when it comes to buying stocks. But don't worry, you can invest in these through most brokerage accounts, just like stocks.

This law allows small investors, like you and I, to reap the rewards of higher returns brought in by real estate properties.

In a Nutshell: "5G Cash" is a made-up term that refers to dividends you an get from investing in cellular tower REITs, which are required to payout 90% of their income to investors by law.

The Sales Pitch

Yes, it's all a sales pitch. If you thought that entire presentation was about to set you up on a path of easy retirement for free, you thought wrong.

In the presentation we are told that you can get access to the "5G Cash" Command Center, or 5GCC, which is a "special web portal" that provides all the information you need to know about this opportunity, such as how to get started and companies payout out this 5G Cash.

*There are also a number of other bonuses he's giving away, but the main focus here is on collecting this 5G Cash.

5G Cash Command Center

What you get in this "special web portal", which is really just a members area of a website, at its core includes:

  • Video: Getting Started with "5G Cash" - goes over how to set up your account to collect this money and so on
  • 5G Calendar - provides dates for all the upcoming payouts
  • 5G USA Rollout Map - provides news as to the progress of 5G in the US
  • 5G Investors Web Seminar - with Zach Scheidt and a special guest, who he claims to be an expert in the tech investing world
  • 5-star 5G Index - helps you keep track of all the 5G companies out there
  • 5G World News and Views - provides news and updates on the situation of 5G worldwide

How do you get access?

Of course we are led to believe this is free, but first you have to subscribe to his newsletter service called Lifetime Income Report... WHICH ISN'T FREE.

Lifetime Income Report

What Is Lifetime Income Report?

Lifetime Income Report is a follow-along investment newsletter service that provides subscribers with specific investment recommendations regularly, along with market analysis and more. The focus of this particular newsletter is investing in companies that pay dividends, which makes sense since that is really what this "5G Cash" opportunity comes down to.

Subscribers to this service get:

  • Monthly issues of the Lifetime Income Report newsletter that provides specific investment recommendations and detailed analyses of the opportunities presented
  • Email updates on current recommendations and what you should know about the market
  • Monthly FAQ sessions where subscribers can ask Zach questions

The cost for the most basic membership of this service is $49/yr, which is really pretty cheap... and this comes with a 6-month "satisfaction guarantee" where they say you can get a full-refund at any point within 6 months if you are not satisfied.

*Note: What's going on here is the same sort of deal that's going on with other investment teasers, such as The "5G Master Key" teaser and the "McCarthy Chip" teaser. What they do is tease some new investment opportunity under some made-up name, then claim they are giving away "free" information on it, BUT of course require viewers to first subscribe to one of their newsletter services before they can access the "free" information.

Who Is Zach Scheidt?

Zach Scheidt

Zach Scheidt currently works as an editor for St. Paul Research, where he runs several investment advisory services, such as Lifetime Income Report, Income on Demand, Buyout Millionaires Club and others.

He has become known widely as an expert, with his works being featured in Seeking Alpha, The Motley Fool, and even The Wall Street Journal. Before all of this he started out as a consultant at a bank, and then left that position to join an investment advisory service (not sure which) that managed semi-large amounts of money, with two hedge funds that had a $100 million combined balance.

When it comes to education, Zach has a MBA from Georgia State University, which he obtained while working as an analyst and portfolio manager.

So, in short, Zach does have a good background in finance and investing, and is the type of guy many people would want to provide them with investment advice. For a entry-level, and very basic, advisory newsletter service like Lifetime Income Report I'd say he's qualified for the job.

Good Opportunity or Not?

Back to this "5G Cash". Is it really the amazing opportunity it is presented as?

Well, I think most of us can agree that there is far too much hype in the promotional material, so don't fall for this. Some of the things we are told you have to take with a grain of salt.

That said, 5G is going to take over and when new tech like this comes to market there are always lots of good investment opportunities.

While the presentation for this "5G Cash" is misleading no doubt, I actually like the real opportunity being presented here. It's a way to profit from the 5G revolution that most people won't know about. While most people will be investing in companies that are on the front-lines of this new tech, probably close to the consumer side of things, this opportunity is to invest in companies that are part of 5G infrastructure... a little more hidden from the public eye but equally important.

This 5G rollout is important, and the US wants to be ahead of the game. President Trump even went as far as to issue a memorandum to propel the development of 5G.

While there are some hurdles this new technology will have to overcome, it seems like its future is unstoppable and this opportunity could be very good. I don't really think there is any stopping it at this point.

Conclusion

Quick recap:

  • "5G Cash" is a made-up term that refers to dividend checks you can collect by investing in cellular tower REIT companies
  • Zach Scheidt has put together a "5G Cash" Command Center, where people can learn more about this opportunity, including how to get in on it
  • In order to get access to this information you first have to subscribe to his Lifetime Income Report newsletter service
  • It's a good opportunity but don't fall for the hype in the promotional content. Don't think you are going to live like a celebrity after investing in this!

And that's it. I hope this review has helped clarify what's going on here for you. Now you'll be able to make a better decision as whether or not to get involved with this.

PS: I've been getting a lot of requests as to what investment advisory service I actually recommend. There aren't many that I do, but Stock Advisor is one of them and for several reasons.

  1. Hi Kyle,
Tell me honestly how much money does one have to invest in the cellular tiers to receive the dividend payouts?
I am a retired physician who moved back to my native MS after living in Southern CA for over 30 years. I don’t think they are putting 5G cellular towers in my state as of yet, unless I am mistaken. Is one limited to the state in which one lives? Most important issue is how much of an investment getting in is necessary??
Also, it appears from my reading that when Apple launches satellites from the sky, the cellular towers will be no longer necessaryl. Is that true??
