Gift Hunter Club is a reward site that you can earn cash and gift cards with by doing simple things like taking surveys, completing tasks, Etc.
Overall It is a decent site of this kind, but definitely not my top pick–because it is lacking in ways to earn money, available rewards, and is somewhat frustrating as I will go over in this review.
Overview of Gift Hunter Club
There are hundreds of different reward sites out there that do what Gift Hunter Club (at gifthunterclub.com) is doing here–which is paying members to do things like…
- Watch videos
- Take surveys
- Read content
- Share offers with friends
- Complete offers
- Sign up for things
Once you have enough money in your account you will be able to cash it out via PayPal or choose to have them send you gift cards. They also claim that you can get paid with Bitcoin, but in my experience it didn’t seem that this was an option (more on this).
Signup Process
The sign-up process is pain-free, as it should be. They say that it takes less than 1 minute and this is actually the truth.
All you have to do is enter your email, create a username and password–and you’re good to go.
Once you log into the dashboard for the first time there’ll be a popup called ‘Gift Hunter Club safari’ that shows you around the site. This is a big help because it can be hard to know where to start out at first.
A Look Inside
The first thing you’re going to want to do after logging in is complete your profile, which it will tell you to do–the reason being because the more information they know about you the better they will be able to match you up with appropriate tasks, surveys, Etc–and ultimately the more money you will be able to make.
Above you can see a screenshot of the main dashboard. The Top Offers are displayed right in the middle and usually include things like short quizzes, surveys, Etc.
As you can see, at the time of me writing this I had two quizzes available that paid out 5.36 cents–in which required me to get 100% correct answers and then share my results on Facebook–and only would require a minute or two to complete.
Over on the left hand side of the dashboard you have a menu of different ways to earn…And I’ll go over some of the main way to earn on this menu, starting with the OfferWalls section…
OfferWalls
The OfferWalls area is where you are going to find by far the most variety of ways to earn. You will be able to click on different offer providers and then view the different ways they’re willing to pay you.
As you can see below I clicked on the offer provider called ‘OfferToro’ and the first two offers that popped up for me where to download a game app on my phone and reach a certain level, which would then pay me 210 cents ($2.10).
And this other offer provider below called ‘RevenueWall’ was offering rewards for playing a game and taking surveys…
So you can just go down through the list and click on all the different offer providers to see what offers they have available. Usually these include things like…
- Play games
- Dowload and use apps
- Take surveys
- Take quizes
- Sign up for other rewards sites
And you can even find some decent paying offers like opening up a trading account and depositing money into it for the first time–which of course require you to do more. There are lots a variety here.
Surveys & Daily Surveys
There is also a section for Surveys and Daily Surveys. You will find survey offers in the OfferWalls section that I just went over above, but these survey sections are exclusively for taking surveys and making a bit of extra money.
Some of the surveys can be taken on a daily basis over and over again, While others are just one time offers.
The pay will vary a good bit, but usually you will make less than $1 for most of them, and usually they will take around 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
It would be nice if Gift Hunter Club hosted all of these surveys directly on their website, but unfortunately you will get redirected to other websites to complete most of them.
Watching Videos
The option of making money watching videos may sound appealing, but believe me, this is a massive waste of time.
Ya, it is super easy, but you will have to spend a fair amount of time watching videos and will only make a few cents from it.
A lot of people will try to cheat the system with opportunities like this, and somehow set it up so that the videos play even when they are not watching them–so that they can earn a bit of extra money without actually wasting a bunch of time sitting in front of some stupid video–but I don’t know if it is possible to do this at Gift Hunter Club.
Referring Friends
And of course they have a referral program, in which you can earn 10% of what your referrals earn and also a $0.75 bonus when they are in their first $1.
Other Ways to Earn
Some other ways to earn that are worth mentioning include contests that they have to refer friends and complete tasks–where people who refer the most friends of complete the most tasks over a specific period of time earn a reward.
Getting Paid
I was reading over some older reviews and apparently this place used to have a confusing point system, but has since done away with it. Now you get paid in cents (may vary depending on your country) which is nice because you don’t have to deal with any conversions.
When you make $0.50 taking a survey, you know that you just made $0.50. You don’t have to try to convert 1,408 points into the appropriate dollar amount.
As far as Cashing Out goes, I only had two options available to me:
- Amazon gift card for 1000 cents
- PayPal cash for 530 cents
They claim to offer rewards in other ways, such as iTunes gift cards and even Bitcoin, but this was not an option for me for some reason. I don’t know, maybe it depends on where you live.
Pros v Cons
Pros
- Free to join
- Simple layout
- No confusing point system
- PayPal and Amazon gift card available (2 best options in my opinion)
- Can login and earn at any time of the day or night
Cons
- Could be better organized – The OfferWall has so many random ways to earn. It would be nice if they categorized this area better so that you could easily find specific ways to earn.
- Survey offers often redirect you to another website
- Very low earning potential
- Not many cash out options
Conclusion – Worth Joining or Not?
What this really comes down to is what type of opportunity you are looking for. What you need to be aware of is that with a place like Gift Hunter Club you are going to make very little money–pocket change–which is why I usually say these places are best for earning a bit of extra money in your spare time, such as maybe on your lunch break.
That said, if a little extra pocket change is all you are looking for I still wouldn’t really recommend this place all that much. They are legitimate and all, but in my opinion more popular rewards sites like Swagbucks are better by far. Not only does Swagbucks offer more ways to earn money, but they also offer more rewards, have more organized website–and are pretty much all around better.
So ya–I’d recommend Swagbucks over Gift Hunter Club any day. And if you are looking for a way to earn good money online then I’d suggest taking a look at this program I use to make a living working for myself online–and have been using since 2015.
What do you think? Have you tried Gift Hunter Club? And if so, what was your experience like? I’d love to hear from you in the comment section below 🙂
